Fowler YMCA hosts annual Rock 'N Roll-A-Thon

The annual ROCK 'N ROLL-A-THON is this Saturday, February 4th from 8am-2pm and open to the entire community!

The Fowler annual ROCK 'N ROLL-A-THON is this Saturday, February 4th beginning at 8 am and runs through 2 pm. What is a ROCK 'N ROLL-A-THON? It is a non-competitive group event held indoors at the Fowler Y. If you can ride a bike, lift a few weights, or shake your hips you can participate! This event is fun with a purpose. We strengthen our community through donations provided by our Annual Giving Campaign. These dollars help us provide a positive impact on children, seniors, families and this community. When you participate in the ROCK ‘N ROLL-A-THON 100% of the proceeds go directly toward providing life-changing experiences that will have a meaningful impact right in our community.

Can Anyone Participate? YES! The entire community is welcome and invited to participate, you don’t need to be a Y member to join in the fun. This year’s event has something for everybody, so grab your family members, friends, neighbors, even co-workers! Our popular SPIN-A-THON event will be held in the gym. Everyone will participate as part of a team for one FUN hour or for the entire five hours or anywhere in between! Don't have a team, no worries, we'll assign you one. The last hour, 12 pm, will be a lively hour dedicated to our ATLANTA FALCONS as they prepare to WIN Super Bowl 51 - so RISE UP and join us! If biking isn't your thing our wonderful ZUMBA® instructors will get participants grooving, moving, and burning calories with great Latin inspired music. Or Pump It Up at BODY PUMP™ as you build stronger muscles while raising money for the Carol Sylvester Scholarship Fund. Whatever sounds FUN to you - please consider coming and joining in the fun. It just won't be the same without YOU!
