Google Express Now Available in Georgia
The tech giant's two-day, online delivery service will compete with Amazon Prime.
ATLANTA — Google is going after Amazon with its own online-delivery product, Google Express. And, as of Tuesday, that service is available in Atlanta and most of Georgia.
The expansion was part of a multi-state rollout for Google Express, which had only been available in parts of the northeastern United States previously.
On Tuesday, the Google Express service was introduced in Alabama, Kentucky, Utah, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Wyoming, and Washington.

Google says that 98 percent of shoppers in Georgia now have access to the service.
It works one of two ways: Google Express users may either purchase a membership, for $95 a year, or pay a fee — starting at $4.99 — along with each order.
