Gwinnett County Public Library Hosts The Cake Mix Doctor, Anne Byrn, at Peachtree Corners Branch

Gwinnett County Public Library presents "Meet the Author" event with Anne Byrne Dec 3, 6:30pm

Raised in Nashville, TN, Anne Byrn is no stranger to Southern food and the joy of eating good, fresh, seasonal food in the company of friends and family. Before writing NYT bestselling The Cake Mix Doctor line of cookbooks, she was food editor at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution for 15 years. Here Anne learned to write about food and learned to cook by taking classes from Julia Child, Marcella Hazan, and countless great cooks and writers who traveled to Atlanta. After studying abroad in Paris at La Varenne Ecole de Cuisine, she returned home and began work on her popular cookbook series.

Just in time for the approaching holidays, Gwinnett County Library presents a “Meet the Author” event on December 3rd at 6:30pm at their Peachtree Corners branch, 5570 Spalding Drive, Norcross 30092. Come and sample some of Anne’s mouthwatering delights, hear her recipe stories, and enjoy having your own personalized copy signed by the author. Books will be available for sale by Eagle Eye Book Shop. Admission is free and open to the public.
