Gwinnett Man, 2 Others, Arrested in Stolen Property Bust
They were arrested in Statesboro, Ga.; $50K worth of stolen property recovered.

A Gwinnett County man was one of three men arrested in Statesboro, Ga., as part of an undercover investigation into a crime ring that was allegedly involved in selling stolen property in Georgia and Florida.
The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release that Arch Morgan, 40, of Duluth, was charged with theft by receiving stolen property. Also arrested were Kevin Gaddy, 22, of Savannah, and William Cherry, 37, of Guyton, and officers were looking for a fourth suspect, Dustin Dowd, 27, of Savannah.
Morgan is listed by the sheriff’s office with an address in unincorporated Duluth, in between the cities of Norcross, Duluth and Peachtree Corners.

According to the news release, an undercover investigator with the Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team posed as an interested buyer, leading to the arrests.
Officers recovered around $50,000 in stolen property, including a Bobcat T250 loader and dual-axle trailer stolen from Pensacola, Fla.

Morgan and the others were being held in the Bulloch County Jail, the sheriff’s office said.
