Gwinnett Man Sentenced for Pimping 18-Year-Old Wife
He was caught during a March human trafficking sting operation in Norcross.

A Gwinnett County has been sentenced to six months in jail for pimping his 18-year-old wife, the Gwinnett County Solicitor’s Office said.
Delorean Gibson, 29, pleaded guilty Monday in Gwinnett County State Court to the charges of pimping and possession of marijuana, the solicitor’s office said in a news release.
Gibson, of Norcross, was arrested in March as part of a human trafficking sting conducted by Gwinnett and Norcross police, and the FBI. Undercover officers contacted the woman after seeing photos of her online in a posted sex ad, the solicitor’s office said.

“As part of the sting, the undercover officer paid the woman $90 in exchange for 30 minutes of sexual activity at a Norcross motel. After receiving the cash, the woman slid the money under the motel bathroom door, where Gibson was hiding,” the solicitor’s office news release stated.
Along with the jail sentence, Gibson also will be on probation for 24 months, participate in an alcohol and drug evaluation, and attend a risk reduction class. He also is ordered to stay away from all Gwinnett County hotels, motels and inns.
