Gwinnett Police Seek Burglar Caught on Camera

Gwinnett Police are looking for help in identifying a burglary suspect who was caught on camera stealing items from a Norcross-area business.
Police say XM Industries, located at 2930 Woodbine Hill Way in unincorporated Norcross, was burglarized on Aug. 23 between 4:36 a.m. and 5:20 a.m. Among the items stolen was the webcam that captured the suspect in the act, according to the incident report released by police.
The owner of the business was able to pull up images of the crime and show police.

“I could see the male removing the items and stuffing them in his pants,” the reporting officer said in the incident report. “The male then spotted the camera and removed it from the area it was mounted and the footage was disconnected.”
The suspect also stole knives and keys to a van, and caused $250 in damages while breaking into the business.

“The male’s clothing and facial features are distinct and he has a tattoo on his left arm just above the elbow,” Gwinnett Sgt. Troy Tobler said in an email.
