Code Enforcement addresses a wide range of issues that affect the environment, health, safety, property values and general well-being of Peachtree Corners.

Graffiti is one of those violations that is not only an eyesore, but also has an adverse effect on property values. This code can be found in Sec. 302 (Exterior areas) of the International Property Maintenance Code 302.9 Defacement of property.

No person shall willfully or wantonly damage, mutilate, or deface any exterior surface of any structure or building on any private or public property by placing thereon any marking, carving, or graffiti.

It shall be the responsibility of the owner to restore said surface to an approved state of maintenance and repair.

Also, note that if any graffiti is observed on any structures located in the city’s right of way, please contact the Public Works Department at 678-691-1200.
