Inside Police Reports: Case of the Stolen Bench

A Peachtree Corners woman told police she thinks the two suspicious males she saw in her neighborhood a few days previously may be responsible for stealing a bench out of her yard on March 4.

According to a Gwinnett Police incident report, the woman said someone stole a wrought-iron bench from the front of her property between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. March 4.

The woman also told police she saw two males looking suspicious near her Patrick Court home the previous week. One of the males knocked on her front door, but she said she did not answer it. Later, she said she went outside and saw another male in a neighbor’s backyard.

She described the suspects as black males, unknown age, 5 feet 10 to 6 feet tall. One of the suspects was wearing ll orange, the other jeans and a dark-colored jacket and hat.
