International Company Opens U.S. Headquarters in Peachtree Corners

On Wednesday, May 6, U.S. Go Goal Cabinets, a Chinese-based company that manufacturers kitchen cabinets, celebrated the opening of its new showroom and warehouse in Peachtree Corners.

The opening marks the first U.S. location for the company. U.S. Go Goal Cabinets, Inc., a subsidiary of ROC Furniture Industrial Company, designs, manufactures and sells kitchen cabinets to retail and wholesale markets. Selecting the Peachtree Corners location was a collaborative effort between the Georgia Department of Economic Development and the Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development.

“We are excited to add another international company to the growing list of businesses in Peachtree Corners,” said Mayor Mike Mason. “We wish them much success.”

The 3,000 square-foot showroom and 35,000 square-foot warehouse is located at 6480 Jimmy Carter Blvd. According to a Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development release, the company plans on opening three more warehouses and creating 20 jobs in the next five years.

Ellis Zheng, president of U.S. Go Goal Cabinets, Inc., said in the release that because of its central location, Gwinnett County is ideal for growing and expanding the business.

“We are excited to join the impressive list of other companies who found a new home in this community,” said Zheng. “We are confident that this location will allow us to enjoy great success.”

U.S. Go Goal Cabinets is just the latest global company that announced it would be locating headquarters in Peachtree Corners. Gwinnett’s newest city welcomed three international companies in 2014. There are more than 600 internationally based businesses in the county.
