A Peachtree Parkway restaurant that scored 50 on a recent Gwinnett County health inspection graded an A on a re-test this week.

Mambo Italiano, located at 5165 Peachtree Parkway, scored 95 (out of 100) in an inspection on July 8, according to health department records.
The restaurant scored 50 on June 26.

In the June 26 report, the inspector noted several violations, including watching an employee cut ready-to-eat food on a cutting board after raw food was cut on it.
In the re-test, the restaurant was cited for incorrect food container labeling and an employee’s water bottle stored in a food prep area.
