Last Chance: Have You Set Your Timeline Yet?

This week we started a new series titled “Last Chance.” Each week, we will find one or more things Patch readers have "one more chance" to do or take care of before it’s too late.

We kicked off the week by reminding you of the big Garden & Yard Expo that was held on Monday. Now we have another one.

For anyone with a Facebook page (and who doesn't these days) you have until the weekend to voluntary convert to Facebook’s new Timeline. If you don’t, Facebook will do it for you. Brand pages will be converted on Friday and your personal page on Saturday.

Contrary to my usual mode of procrastination I did update the Peachtree Corners Patch Facebook page with a new photo. But for my personal page, I'm not sure I'll get around to it by the deadline and may just let Facebook do it for me and update it later.

So, if you haven’t done it yet, this week is your last chance to take control of your own Facebook destiny. Here is a link to an article by Tech Soup that should help overcome some of those Facebook Timeline fears.
