Lawmakers To Speak In Peachtree Corners

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA — Lawmakers from the Peachtree Corners area will be speaking Monday evening at a forum at Christ the King Lutheran Church.

Sponsored by the United Peachtree Corners Civic Association, the event is intended as a chance for citizens to hear about the top issues from the recently completed session of the Georgia General Assembly.

Scheduled to appear are:

• Sen. David Shafer, District 48 and Senate president pro-tem
• Sen. Fran Millar, District 40
• Rep. Scott Hilton, District 95
• Commissioner Lynette Howard, District 2
• Mary Kay Murphy, Gwinnett County School Board
• Mayor Mike Mason, Peachtree Corners

There will be a time for written questions from the audience, with Peachtree Corners resident Jim Blum serving as moderator.

The event is scheduled for 7-8:30 p.m. Christ the King Lutheran Church is located at 5575 Peachtree Pkwy., Peachtree Corners, GA, 30092.
