Lawrenceville Man Charged With Murder in Norcross Shootout
Police say as many as 20 men were fighting in the street and multiple homes were hit with gunfire.

Norcross, GA -- A Lawrenceville man has been charged with murder in a September shootout in Norcross that left one man dead and three others injured.
David Talamantes, 23, is charged with felony murder and aggravated assault in the death of Tre Edwards, 20, of Lilburn.
Police say witnesses described as many as 20 men involved in the September 23 brawl that erupted on Reddington Lane in unincorporated Norcross. The shots were fired at about 10 p.m. as the groups of men were preparing to fight, police say.

The gunfire exchanged between the two groups hit multiple homes and cars, police said.
Talamantes had been arrested in Dekalb County on December 12 on unrelated charges. Due to the number of people and amount of gunfire in the case, police say, they are still actively investigating exactly what happened.

It was unknown Wednesday afternoon when Talamantes would be transported to Gwinnett County.
The three other men who were wounded in the shootout were reported to be in stable condition and expected to survive.
One of those victims was found by police dogs, hiding in a nearby shed, authorities said.
