LED Lighting Company Opens in Peachtree Corners
Chinese-based SELF Electronics shows off first U.S. location.

On Tuesday, May 12, the City of Peachtree Corners welcomed the addition of a new international company to its business community. SELF Electronics, a Chinese-based LED lighting company, celebrated the opening of its new office and warehouse space in Peachtree Corners with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception.
The 28,000 square-foot building, at 3264 Saturn Court, is the company’s first location in the United States. The new facility will house the company’s sales operation, technical support and distribution center. SELF Electronics designs, develops and manufacturers LED lamps, LED displays, LED drivers, sensors and control systems for retail use including grocery and convenience stores.
SELF is headquartered in Ningbo, China with offices in Cologne, Germany, Paris, France and ShenZhen, China. The U.S. facility has 10 employees, a distribution warehouse, technical support and showroom and has plans to expand.

“SELF Electronics is a welcome addition to the city’s growing list of innovative global companies,” said Mayor Mike Mason during the reception. “We’re delighted the company has chosen the City of Peachtree Corners to open its U.S. headquarters.”
According to a Gwinnett Chamber press release, the expansion of SELF Electronics is the latest of a number of global companies that have selected Gwinnett County to locate and expand. The project was a collaborative effort between the Georgia Department of Economic Development and Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development. It is the sixth international company to locate in Peachtree Corners in the last 18 months.
