Lionheart Theatre serves up backstage hilarity
"Moon Over Buffalo" opens Sept. 12

βMoon Over Buffalo,β written by Ken Ludwig, is a show for people who love theatre tradition, theatre people and theatre fun. The screwball farce serves up situation comedy, shtick, sexual innuendo, mistaken identity, sword play and slapstick.
In βMoon Over Buffalo,β Charlotte (Tanya Caldwell) and George Hay (Jerry Jobe) are on tour in Buffalo in 1953 with a repertory consisting of Cyrano de Bergerac βrevised, one nostril versionβ and Noel Cowardβs βPrivate Lives,β when they receive word that they might just have one last shot at stardom: legendary director Frank Capra is coming to town to see their matineeβ¦hilarity ensues.
The Lionheart set boasts five doors, setting up gag after gag of botched exits, over dramatic entrances and squished noses.
