Students from Greater Atlanta Christian School, located in Norcross, and volunteers from the Upper Chattahoochee Chapter of Trout Unlimited recently participated in a Trout in the Classroom release into the Chattahoochee River. UCCTU members talked about the history of the Chattahoochee River and instructed the students in fly casting. TIC helps teach students the value of environmental conservation and highlights benefits to local cold-water streams from healthy aquatic life.
