Man Killed By Wrong Way Driver On I-85
Police say the collision happened just north of Jimmy Carter Boulevard at about 3 a.m. on Monday.

NORCROSS, GA — An Atlanta man is dead after being struck by a wrong way driver on Interstate 85 near Norcross early Monday morning.
Gwinnett County Police say that, shortly after 3 a.m., Joshua Boone, 23, of Syracuse, New York, was driving north on I-85 in the southbound lanes when he struck, and killed, Kippy Glover, 44, of Atlanta.
The collision happened just north of Jimmy Carter Boulevard. Glover died at the scene.

A passenger in his vehicle — a 23-year-old woman from Las Vegas — was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center with serious injuries.
Boone also was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. After he was treated, he was arrested and booked into the Gwinnett County Detention Center. He has since bonded out.

Boone faces charges of first-degree homicide by vehicle, serious injury by motor vehicle, driving on the wrong side of the roadway, DUI and reckless driving.
