Nearly $100K in Jewelry Stolen in Peachtree Corners Burglary
Inside Gwinnett Police Reports: The burglar bypassed electronics, fake jewelry and took only expensive pieces.

Nearly $100,000 in jewelry — including a 3-carat diamond ring valued at $35,000 — was stolen in a Peachtree Corners home burglary last week.
According to a Gwinnett Police incident report dated Oct. 16, someone entered a residence on Riveredge Drive and stole the jewelry from a dresser in an upstairs bedroom. There was no evidence of forced entry, according to the report.
The burglar ignored electronic items located in the house, and had “bypassed the fake jewelry and took only expensive items” in the bottom of the drawer, the report stated.
