New Businesses Abound in Peachtree Corners

The county's largest, and newest city continues to attract new businesses. 

Statistically speaking, the city by the river attracts companies of all sorts. A September, 2011 report from Gwinnett County showed that there were:

• 1255 commercially located buisneses generating $879,288 in occupation tax annually.
• 568 home-based businesses generating $67,951 in occupation tax annually
• 81 establishments licensed to sell alcoholic beverage generating $292,720 in license fees annually
• 29 restaurants with mixed dring sales generating $59,073 annually in mixed dring excise tax
• 12 hotels generating $1,588,295 annually in occupancy tax

Following is a list of Peachtree Corners business occupation tax certificates issued by Gwinnett County in the final month of the year. The county does not provide opening dates for these new businesses. The list covers the period from Dec. 1-31, 2011.
