New Movie Theater Opens in Peachtree Corners

NCG Cinema officially opened its doors on Thursday in the Peachtree Market Place shopping center.

Nov. 20, 2015 – After the city’s only movie theater closed in the Peachtree Market Place shopping center nearly a year ago, residents have had to travel out of the city to see a movie. But that all ended on Thursday when NCG Cinema, a Michigan-based family owned business opened its doors.

NCG Cinema is one of the new tenants in the shopping center located on Peachtree Parkway and Holcomb Bridge Road that’s currently undergoing major renovations. The old theater space underwent a complete remodel and the theater officially opened on Nov. 19. The Peachtree Corners location offers eight theaters, comfortable reclining seating, a spacious lobby and a party room for private celebrations.

“We’re pleased to welcome NCG Cinema to Peachtree Corners,” said Councilmember Weare Gratwick (Post 6), who was on hand to help celebrate the grand opening. “The new theater is a much-appreciated addition to our community.”
