NHS Foundation for Excellence Holds Winter Open House

A strong public school system attracts businesses and home buyers and directly affects the value of your property, whether your children attend private or public schools.  Our Gwinnett County Public School system was recognized last year by The Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation as the best urban school district in the country, winning $1 million in college scholarships for our high school students.

, the No. 1 International Baccalaureate school in Georgia, is fortunate to have a Foundation for Excellence.  The goal of the Foundation is to fill the gap between federal, state and county funding, and the extra needs of the school. The mission of this 501c3 Corporation is to partner with Norcross High and the Norcross community in continual support of NHS as a world class school.  The Corporation is organized to help develop and strengthen the academic, artistic, and athletic capabilities of the students of Norcross High.  

Since 2006, the NHS Foundation for Excellence has held a spring Gala to raise money for the Foundation and honor selected members of the Norcross community who have made significant contributions to the success of the school. 

Come learn more about the work of the Foundation at our Winter Open House and join us as we bid farewell to Jonathan Patterson and welcome our new principal Will Bishop.
