Peachtree Corners Announces First Recycling Day
Paper shredding and electronics recycling will be available at the September event.

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA — The city of Peachtree Corners has announced its first-ever recycling event.
On Saturday, September 10, residents will be able to recycle electronics and shred unwanted documents at the event, the city announced Monday.
The event will be held at 6025 and 6075 The Corners Pkwy., from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. or until the recycling truck is full.

American Security Shredding will have an on-site shred truck at the event for all paper materials. Residents may shred up to five medium-sized boxes of paper for free, and watch their materials being shredded on a video display monitor.
Residents may also get rid of old cellphones, computers, copiers, and keyboards without guilt.

ITAD Technologies will be on site to help recycle unwanted electronic devices.
This event is free, except for the recycling of CRT monitors. The cost to recycle CRT monitors over 17 inches in size is $25 each. CRT monitors 17 inches or smaller are $15 each. (Cash only.)
Console or projection television can not be processed, nor can batteries that are leaking.
