Peachtree Corners City Council Denies Crematory Request
The vote was unanimous in turning down Crowell Brothers Funeral Home's zoning application.

Peachtree Corners has turned down a special use permit request by a local funeral business to construct a crematory on its property.
City Council voted unanimously Tuesday night at its regular meeting to deny Crowell Brothers Funeral Home’s request to allow for the crematory at its facility at 5051 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
Around 200 residents, many of whom were in the opposition, attended the meeting at City Hall, according to this Gwinnett Daily Post report. Council denied the application despite its approval by the city planning commission.
