New rules for garbage trucks, lawn maintenance equipment and construction sites could be on the way.

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA -- The Peachtree Corners city council is expected to consider an amendment to the city's noise ordinance when it meets Tuesday evening.
The amendment would limit the hours of operation for lawn maintenance equipment and trash hauling vehicles, while extending construction hours, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Under the proposed changes, trash trucks would be restricted to operating from 7 a.m.-10 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m.-9 p.m. on weekends.
