Peachtree Corners Festival Set For This Weekend
Live music, food, vendors and a kids' zone will all be part of the two-day festival, now in its sixth year.

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA -- The second weekend of June is upon us, which means its time for the Peachtree Corners Festival.
Running Saturday and Sunday, the festival -- now in its sixth year -- will feature food, shopping, live entertainment, a car show, a kids' zone and other festival fare.
The festival runs from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and noon-5 p.m. on Sunday.

It will be located at The Corners Parkway and Woodhill Drive, one block west of Peachtree Parkway.
The Peachtree Corners Festival is run by a nonprofit volunteer organization "dedicated to bringing a safe, wholesome and family-friendly festival to the City of Peachtree Corners.

"Our goal is to foster community pride and civic involvement in our diverse city, the largest in Gwinnett County, Georgia,"Â the group says on its website. "To the extent that the festival experiences positive cash flow, the funds will be dedicated to supporting two areas: Education and Beautification."
The festival will get an unofficial kickoff Friday night, with a free concert featuring On The Border, an Eagles tribute band, and Guilty Pleasure. The site will open at 6 p.m. and concert is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.Â
Food trucks and a Peachtree Growler Beer Garden will be open during the concert.
There will be live music performances all day Saturday and Sunday.
"Kids Korner" will feature attractions including Circus City, Mini Fire Engine Rides, Rock Wall, Zipping Zone, Kraken and more.Â
A classic car show will run from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and noon-4 p.m. Sunday.
Dozens of exhibitors will be on hand, selling art, crafts, clothing and a host of other merchandise.
Sixteen food and beverage vendors also will be on hand.
