PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA — The City of Peachtree Corners officially has a new city manager.

"The Council and I are extremely pleased to announce that Mr. Johnson will be the new city manager," Mayor Mike Mason said in a news release Monday. "He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise. The city will undoubtedly benefit greatly from his experience in handling the day-to-day operations of our city."

In addition to serving as Anniston’s city manager, Johnson was city manager for the City of Garden City in Chatham County, Georgia for six years. His background also includes over 18 years of management experience at both the federal and local levels of government.
