Peachtree Corners Mayor To Deliver 'State Of The City' Speech

Mayor Mike Mason will give the annual address Friday and again on Monday. The Monday event is free to attend.

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA — The mayor of Peachtree Corners is preparing to deliver his annual "State of the City" speech this week.

Mayor Mike Mason will give the address twice — once on Friday at a paid event and again on Monday at an event that is free to the public.

The event Friday morning is hosted by the Peachtree Corners Business Association. It will be from 7:30-9 a.m. at the Hilton Hotel. Admission is $35 and includes a buffet-style breakfast.

The mayor will speak at 8 a.m., with questions and answers following. Local officials, including state Rep. Scott Hilton and Gwinnett County Commissioner Lynette Howard are expected to attend.

Anyone wishing to attend the Friday event must register in advance at the PCBA website.

The United Peachtree Corners Civic Association will host Monday's event, which will take place at 7 p.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church on Peachtree Parkway. There is no cost to attend.

On Peachtree Corners' fifth anniversary, Mason is expected to speak on the city's accomplishments since incorporating and its plans for the future.
