PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA -- Peachtree Corners is seeking a volunteer to fill a vacancy on its Zoning Board of Appeals.
The Zoning Board of Appeals is a five-member board made up of volunteers appointed by the city council.
It is a non-paid position.

The appeals board is a quasi-judicial board that meets at 7 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month for two to three hours.
The board reviews and issues rulings related to various requests for variances -- or exemptions -- from the city's zoning code.

Decisions of the review board are not subject to review by city council and may only be appealed to the Gwinnett County Superior Coiurt.
Members of the board serve two-year, staggered terms.
