Peachtree Corners Sells Town Center Property To Developer

Work on the mixed-use downtown development is expected to start this spring.

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA — Peachtree Corners recently passed an important milestone, selling property to a developer for what will become the Town Center mixed-use development.

Fuqua Development expects to break ground on the development this spring.

The 21-acre site will include a theater, restaurants, retail shops, office space, town homes and a Town Green.

The city plans to hold a groundbreaking ceremony, likely some time in May.

The sale took place on February 28, after Fuqua Development met a pre-leasing target of 60 percent. That includes what will become the center's anchor tenant, Cinebistro.

Town Center will feature at least 10 restaurants, ground floor retail space, second-floor office space and a two-acre Town Green for community gatherings and events. It also will include more than 70 town homes to be built by Inline Construction.

Work on the three-story town homes also is expected to start this spring.
