Peachtree Corners Swears in Navy Vet as Code Enforcement Officer
Officer Hersila Morrow joined Peachtree Corners on Jan. 5 and will serve as one of two code enforcement officers for the city.

On Wednesday, Jan. 21, Mayor Mike Mason had the pleasure of swearing in a new code enforcement officer for the city.
Officer Hersila Morrow joined Peachtree Corners on January 5 and will serve as one of two code enforcement officers for the city. She has worked in code enforcement for 10 years for the cities of Norcross and Doraville and most recently for DeKalb County.

βIβm delighted to have the opportunity to be a part of the city,β said Morrow.
A 25-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, Officer Morrow most recently served in Kuwait. During her naval career she worked as a police officer and customs inspector.

βWeβre pleased to have Officer Morrow as part of our code enforcement team,β said Mayor Mason. βI know she will serve the city well.β
Officer Morrow also just recently earned her associates degree from ITT Tech in criminal justice.
