Peachtree Corners Unity Church Getting New Minister
The Rev. Jennifer L. Sacks will lead her first Sunday service at Unity Atlanta in Peachtree Corners on Nov. 5.

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA β Unity Atlanta, a church in Peachtree Corners, is getting a new senior minister.
The Rev. Jennifer L. Sacks will lead her first service at the church on Sunday. Sacks will take over at the church after the retirement of the Rev. John Strickland.
Sacks said her mission is to inspire, encourage and support others, and she looks forward to getting to know her new neighbors in and around Unity Atlanta.

"Connecting spiritually with ourselves and with one another can transform our lives and our whole world," Sacks said. "With so much global turmoil and divisiveness surrounding us each day, I am passionate about helping others find comfort in community and know we are all part of something greater."
Originally from New Jersey, Sacks most recently served as senior minister of Unity of Gainesville, in Florida, and Unity of Grand Rapids, in Michigan, prior to that. She earned a Master of Divinity from Unity Institute & Seminary and has a masterβs in literature and a bachelorβs in sociology from American University in Washington, D. C.

Her diverse background includes working as a high school English teacher, educational trainer, advocacy journalist, editor and public relations executive.
Located at 3597 Parkway Ln. in Peachtree Corners, Unity Atlanta is a church of the Daily Word and Silent Unity, the worldwide prayer ministry of Unity. The church offers services and ministries for the whole family, including two Sunday morning services, a Wednesday night prayer service, an active youth program and a variety of adult education classes.
