Police ID Norcross Double-Homicide Victims
Neither of the two lived in the subdivision where they were found dead, authorities say.
NORCROSS, GA -- Police have identified the man and woman found dead from gunshot wounds 200 yards apart in a Norcross subdivision on Monday.
But they say they’re still no closer to determining what the relationship between the two may have been, or even if the killings were related.
The body of Jaquille Thomas, 18, was found between two homes in the 6000 block of Wandering Way in Norcross on Monday. About 90 minutes later, as police were searching the area, they found the body of 19-year-old Angelique Bowman in a car parked in the subdivision’s pool parking lot.

Both Thomas and Bowman have Stone Mountain addresses and both appeared to be dead of gunshot wounds.
Gwinnett County police originally were called by surveyors who were working in the area when they discovered Thomas’s body.

While they were investigating that scene, police received a phone call reporting a theft at the subdivision’s clubhouse. It was while they were responding to that call that they found Bowman’s body.
A police news release said investigators continue to look into the relationship between the two victims, including why they may have been in the Norcross subdivision.
