Police: Man Shot in Possible Home Invasion Near Norcross

The shooting happened before 2 p.m. on Tahoe Court; the victim was in stable condition.

Gwinnett Police said a male victim was shot Friday afternoon in a possible home invasion near Norcross.

The male was taken to Grady Hospital where he was in stable condition, police spokesman Cpl. Deon Washington said in an email. The shooting happened before 2 p.m. 2229 Tahoe Court in Norcross.

This is an area just off Beaver Ruin Road behind St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

“Police made contact with a white male victim, (unknown age) who stated that two black males, armed with handguns and faces covered with bandanas, came into his house and shot him,” Washington said,.

No other information was released.
