Police: Man Stabbed in Neck at Gwinnett Hotel; 2 Suspects in Custody

He was sent to a local hospital after the incident Wednesday morning at the Rite 4 Us Inn & Suites near Norcross.

Gwinnett Police said two female suspects are in custody after a report of a man being stabbed in the neck Wednesday morning at a hotel near Norcross.

The incident happened around 7:15 a.m. at the Rite 4 Us Inn & Suites, located at 5895 Oakbrook Parkway, police said. Officers assigned to the West Precinct arrived on scene at 7:18 a.m.

The victim was conscious and alert following the attack, according to the call into police. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was in surgery. His condition was not known. Police were withholding the man’s identity for now.

“The crime originally occurred in one of the rooms of the hotel [room unknown],” Gwinnett Police Cpl. Michele Pihera said in an email. “After the crime occurred, the victim went to the lobby to seek help with the lobby employee.”

The relationship between the victim and the suspect was not immediately known.
