Police Respond To Suspicious Package Call At Peachtree Corners Library
Nothing out of the ordinary was found at the library, police say

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA — A call about a suspicious package at the Peachtree Corners Library on Wednesday turned out to be a false alarm.
Gwinnett County Police responded to a suspicious package call at the library Wednesday morning, said police spokesman Cpl. Deon Washington.
They spent about two hours searching the area, but did not find anything out of the ordinary, he said.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing more than a half-dozen police cars blocking the entrance to the library and a remote command-post RV arriving on the scene.
