Police: Shot Fired During Armed Robbery Outside Kroger
Gwinnett Police are seeking "2 to 3 suspects" in the Friday morning robbery.

Gwinnett Police are looking for two or three suspects in a Friday morning armed robbery of a man in the parking lot of a Kroger grocery store.
The robbery occurred around 11 a.m. at the Kroger store located at 6050 Singleton Road in unincorporated Norcross, police said in a news release.

Gwinnett Police spokesperson Cpl. Michelle Pihera said in an email that Abdul Yusef, 26, of Lilburn was approached by two to three male and female suspects (unknown how many of each) in the parking lot. One of the suspects pointed a gun at Yusef.
“One round was fired in the victim’s general direction. No one was struck by the round, and there were no other known injuries,“ Pihera said. “The suspects took the victim’s phone, wallet, and cash and were last seen in a brown or gold sedan.”

Pihera said one shell casing was found in the parking lot.
The suspects stole the victim’s phone, wallet, and cash, and were last seen driving a brown or gold sedan (unknown make/model).
Pihera said there were several witnesses in the case.
