Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Psi Omega Omega Chapter Health Programming Committee , in Partnership with YMCA Presented Pink Goes Red: “Launching Your Healthy Lifestyle”
The event which was held February 7th 2015 at the YMCA - Robert D. Fowler facility. Psi Omega Omega Chapter members wore red attire and pink and green socks. The day was filled with a Community Focus that included Round Table Opportunities

The Psi Omega Omega Heath Programming committee was successful in meeting the following goals:

- To provide health education materials through various venues identified above
- To provide health education materials to at least 100 partners/community members in the Peachtree Corners area
- To increase the knowledge of heart disease and stroke prevention risk, risk factors and preventive methods to decrease risk and disease
- To provide hands on exercise and increase the continued use of physical activity
- To provide hands on experience with healthy eating to encourage healthy eating choices in the future
