QuikTrip Unveils New Prototype Store in Peachtree Corners

City leaders were on hand early Wednesday morning to celebrate the grand opening of QuikTrip’s new store on Peachtree Corners Circle.

The new store, which is located near Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, is part of the company’s new Generation 3 concept stores. The new design has expanded food offerings and now serves up a variety of made-to-order items such as pizzas, flatbreads, pretzels, smoothies and ice creams in its QT Kitchen, which is part of the new design.

Also on the menu are coffee-styled drinks such as lattes, mochas and frappes and breakfast items. Customers use a self-serve touch screen to place their order.

“It’s very impressive,” said Mayor Mike Mason. “We are delighted that QuikTrip chose to re-
invest in Peachtree Corners. I’m sure this location will be very successful.”

The new store is built on the site of an older QuikTrip store. The company decided to raze the old building, buy a piece of adjacent property and build a bigger and better store. It was a 16-week process from start to finish, said Patrick Conner, QuikTrip’s Real Estate Project Manager.

“This is our 12th Generation 3 store in the Atlanta market,” said Conner, “The Peachtree Corners store is 5,773 square feet and has a vertical 8 canopy providing a 16-car service. In addition to our new fresh food offer, the new building has entrances on three sides to allow customers easier access in and out of the store.”

The Peachtree Corners store is located at 3229 Peachtree Corners Circle. The Tulsa, Oklahoma-
based QuikTrip operates 700 stores in 11 states, including two in Peachtree Corners.
