Rep. Rob Woodall to Give GGC Commencement Address

He will give the keynote address at Georgia Gwinnett College's Fall ceremony on Dec 18.

Georgia Congressman Rob Woodall (R-7th District) will give the keynote address at Georgia Gwinnett College’s Fall Commencement Ceremony. More than 300 students who have earned their degrees will graduate on December 18, 2014 at 10 a.m. The ceremony will be at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.

“We are pleased and honored to have Congressman Woodall address our fall graduating class,” said GGC President Stas Preczewski. “Congressman Woodall has been a great supporter of and friend to GGC and our students. His life experiences and service in public office position him well to challenge and inspire Georgia Gwinnett College graduates as they collectively celebrate this important milestone.”

A native of Georgia, Congressman Woodall serves the 7th District of GA in the U.S. House of Representatives and serves on the House Committee on Rules, the House Budget Committee, and the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. He also serves as Chairman of the Republican Study Committee’s Budget and Spending Task Force.
