Robber Grabs Beer, Then Robs Gwinnett Store
The Monday robbery happened at about 6:30 p.m. at a Texaco in Peachtree Corners.
PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA β An armed robber grabbed a 12-pack of Bud Light, ordered two packs of smokes, then pulled his handgun on a clerk at a Peachtree Corners convenience store this week.
Gwinnett County Police say a man walked into the Texaco station at 3425 Medlock Bridge Rd. at about 6:30 p.m. on Monday. He got the beer out of a cooler and walked up to the register, where he asked for the cigarettes.
While a clerk was grabbing the cigarettes, the man pulled out a small pistol, telling the clerk to open the register and place it on the counter.

The clerk complied and the robber took the money, the beer and the cigarettes, police said. He then walked out of the store and got into an older model, tan-colored Toyota 4Runner.

Police describe the robber as a white male, about 6' tall and 200 pounds, with a dark beard. He was wearing a white T-shirt, dark colored pants, sunglasses and a black beanie hat. He had a tattoo on his right forearm.

Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
