Taser Used on Peachtree Corners Man During Robbery

Inside police reports: He was walking home when he was attacked near the intersection of Holcomb Bridge and Peachtree Corners Circle.

A Peachtree Corners man told police that two men used a taser on him when they beat and robbed him recently near the intersection of Holcomb Bridge Road and Peachtree Corners Circle.

According to a Gwinnett Police incident report, the 20-year-old man said he was walking home around midnight on Oct. 14 when two men jumped from the bushes and attacked him.

They punched and kicked him to the ground, then one of the suspects pulled out a taser and hit the man around five times on the back of the neck. As he was being tasered, the other suspect took all of his belongings out of his pockets β€” cash, a gold chain, iPhone, and another cell phone.

The attack sent the man to the Gwinnett Medical Center in Duluth, where he was interviewed by police.

According to the police report, the victim mentioned several times that the suspects were members of the β€˜Blood’ gang. He said both suspects, β€œkept making β€˜Brrat-Brrat” noises, which he said signified they were part of the gang.

The suspects were described as black men, ages 20-25, according to the incident report. One weighs 160-170 pounds with small dreadlocks and stands about 5 feet, 6 inches tall. The other suspect, who allegedly used the taser, is slightly taller and weighsΒ around 200 to 210 pounds

The man suffered bruising and lacerations to the left side of his face, and swelling on the back of the neck where he said he was tasered.

β€œI appeared there [were] circular prong marks on the back of his neck,” the report stated.
