Robbery Victim: I Was Attacked by Men Who Just Moved In at Peachtree Corners Complex

A Peachtree Corners man told police he thinks two men who recently moved into his apartment complex were the ones responsible for attacking and robbing him as he was getting ready for work.

According to a Gwinnett Police incident report, the man said he was taking trash to the dumpster at Medlock Bridge Apartments on Beverly Glen Village Lane around 6 a.m. on Oct. 4 when he saw two young men in the parking lot.

On his way back to grab his tools for work, one of the men grabbed him around the neck while the other man took the victim’s wallet containing $30 and a Guatemalan ID. The victim was thrown into some bushes after the attack.

The suspects were described as black men, young in age, with medium builds. One was about 6 feet tall; the other around around 6 feet, 3 inches tall.

The victim told police he has lived as the complex for three years and ”knows everyone” who lives there, according to the incident report. He said two male matching the descriptions just moved in.
