Sewage Spill Reported In Peachtree Corners
The sewage spill poured into a tributary of Crooked Creek in Peachtree Corners, Gwinnett County officials said.

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA — A sewage spill was reported Tuesday in Peachtree Corners, according to county officials.
The spill happened at a gravity main at 3564 Corners Way. The cause was determined to be erosion of the creek bank, according to the Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources.
The department was notified at 10:04 a.m. and the overflow was stopped at 11:25 a.m. The spill totaled about 4,962 gallons and flowed into a tributary of Crooked Creek, county officials said.

Signs letting residents know about the spill were placed in the area and the Georgia Environmental Protection Division was notified.
