Shoplifter Pepper-Sprays Her Way Out of Nearby Walmart

The woman was ready to use it the moment she walked into the store, police say.

Police are looking for a woman who pepper-sprayed her way out of the Pleasant Hill Road Walmart while stealing a shopping cart full of items.

DuluthΒ Police posted on Facebook surveillance camera images of the woman, who allegedly shoplifted at the store around 6 a.m. on Oct. 8.

A Walmart employee tried to stop the woman from exiting the store with a cart full of items, but the woman used the pepper spray to get away.

β€œThe female walked into the Wal-Mart with the pepper spray in her hand, apparently ready for any contact with the store’s staff,” Duluth Police said on Facebook. β€œThe female did not hesitate to use the pepper spray twice on the Wal-Mart employee in the attempt to steal the items.”

The woman got away in a dark-colored Dodge Charger or Challenger.
