Sidewalk Improvements Planned in Peachtree Corners
The county approved using 2005 SPLOST funds to pay for half of the project.

Gwinnett County commissioners agreed this week to use 2005 SPLOST funds to pay half the cost of pedestrian improvements in Peachtree Corners, the county said in a news release.

The city of Peachtree Corners will fund the other half of the cost.
The project will build a new sidewalk on the east side of Crooked Creek Road from Jay Bird Alley to the existing sidewalk at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church.

Work on curb, gutter and drainage improvement are expected to be completed by the end of the year.
CMEC LLC was the lowest of seven bidders at $198,779, the county said.
