Simpson Elementary Talent Show Raises $2,000 For St. Jude

(PHOTOS) About 400 people showed up to watch 4th and 5th graders take part in "Simpson's Got Talent."

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA — Simpson Elementary School's recent talent show raised nearly $2,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The school hosted its fourth-annual 4th and 5th grade talent show, called 'Simpson's Got Talent."

The event involved more than 70 students and staff, with acts that included singing, skits, musical instruments, dance, karate, tumbling and more.

Each year, Simpson's student council selects a charity to receive ticket sale proceeds from the show. This year, record attendance of 400 helped them break their fundraising goal for St. Jude.

Last year, the show raised $1,500 for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
