Missing Teen, 16, Reportedly Found

Gwinnett Police from the West Precinct are looking for a missing special needs teenage girl who reportedly ran away from home.

In a press release, police said Kaitlin Crenshaw, 16, was last seen Saturday, May 30, around 10:30 p.m. at her family’s home in the Wesley Park Apartment complex near Norcross. When her mother woke up the next morning, the girl was gone.

Police said the teen, who left a note saying she was leaving due to family issues, has cognitive delays and seems to be younger than her actual age.
Police have been canvassing the area and checking with friends and acquaintances for several days.
She may be wearing a grey shirt with two green birds on the front.
