Starbucks to Raise Prices in Metro Area

The Associated Press reports that Starbucks has said it will raise prices in several regions throughout the country, including here in the Atlanta area.

The Seattle-based coffee chain is blaming the increase on rising ingredient costs and expects to raise prices about one percent. A "tall" coffee is set to go up in cost by 10 cents, along with six other beverages. The chain's "grande" size is said to not be affected by the price increase.

There are several Starbucks locations in Peachtree Corners, including 5975 Peachtree Pkwy .
