Startup Incubator in Peachtree Corners Now Open
Prototype Prime provides work and event space for high-tech businesses just getting off the ground.

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA — Prototype Prime, the long-anticipated, city-backed startup incubator in Peachtree Corners, is now open.
More than 60 people attended a grand opening celebration at the incubator, located in renovated office space just above city hall, on Thursday.
The 12,500 square-foot incubator includes networking and event space, workshops, a podcast room and design lab with three 3D printers.

Two law firms and an accounting agency are signed on to provide professional services to entrepreneurs using the space to help get their startups off the ground.

The city of Peachtree Corners teamed with Georgia Tech's Advanced Technology Development Center to provide mentoring, training and guidance to budding entrepreneurs in the city and help them acquire the skills to build their companies.

Sanjay Parekh, a serial entrepreneur who has started up a number of successful companies, is heading up the incubator as its executive consultant.
"We are extremely pleased with how well the facilities turned out," said Mayor Mike Mason. "Our hats are off to Sanjay. His leadership in helping establish Prototype Prime is invaluable and under his direction, it will undoubtedly be very successful."
Thursday's opening was the culmination of more than two years of planning, designing and renovation of the space that houses Prototype Prime.
