Thinking Ahead: Gwinnett County Schools Release 2015-16 Calendar
The 2015-16 school year will begin and end five days later than the current year.
Gwinnett County Public Schools has released its 2015-16 school calendar.
Highlights:
- First Day: Aug. 10
- Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 23-27
- Winter Break: Dec. 21-Jan 4 (students return Jan. 6)
- Spring Break: April 4-8.
- Last Day: May 25

Next year’s calendar starts and ends five days later than this school year. First day for students was Aug. 5, the last day is May 20.
If you’re wondering, this year’s winter break is Dec. 22-Jan. 5 and spring break is April 6-10.
